Location: Düsseldorf, Kassel, or Hybrid with 2-3 days presence requirement in Kassel.

Our client is a business unit of a global larger industrial organization. The company is currently on an exponential growth trajectory and is therefore on the search for a new Head of Finance (m/f/d). They’re looking for an entrepreneurial driven finance manager that is eager to scale a business and built an aligned finance function to facilitate the growth as well as manage, mitigate, and contain the risks inherent in an internationally expanding business.

Your responsibilities

• Leadership of the finance function
• Responsible for accounting, financial reporting, controlling / cashflow management, and international reporting
• Establishing, scaling, and automating processes for efficient and effective financial practices
• Financial sales and project management support and project controlling
  
  

Your profile

• Academic degree with focus on finance or an equivalent education
• At least 3 to 5 years relevant experience as a finance manager / Head of Finance in a leadership position
• Solid knowledge and practical experience in controlling, cashflow management, accounting, financial reporting (IFRS and HGB), financial practices, and financial project administration
• Excellent operational skills in setting up efficient and highly automated processes to ensure smooth operations and timely accurate reporting
• Drive for results, performance oriented, and getting things done attitude
• Open communicator on all levels, transparent, and a team player
